The EDGE of Existence programme uses EDGE Lists to prioritise species for conservation. The team produces EDGE Lists for amphibians, birds, corals, mammals, reptiles and sharks and rays (elasmobranchs).
Our EDGE Lists are updated periodically to incorporate changes in both taxonomy and conservation status of EDGE species, and we provide the most recent data for download:

When creating our EDGE amphibians list, we follow the taxonomy of Frost’s Amphibian Species of the World. For birds, we follow BirdLife International. For corals, we follow Corals of the World. For mammals, we follow The IUCN Red List. For reptiles, we follow The Reptile Database.
